"Librarian Frei" is an unofficial nickname given to the Pythia that is encountered in the Library in Hello Charlotte Episode 1.
Personality[]
While not much of him is seen, this Frei appears to be rather kind-hearted and has a love for knowledge and books.
Background[]
This Frei appears to be in charge of/own the library in which he works. According to him, his fellow Pythias consider it heretical to keep books, and would burn his library to the ground if they discovered it.
Role in Plot[]
Hello Charlotte[]
Frei reveals to Charlotte that changing the channel will change the history of the TV. Afterward, he must be found in the Hall of Knowledge for some optional interactions.
In the second episode, this Frei appears only in a memory flashback, during which he imparts valuable insight on the legacy of his species through a story that he tells one of his security drones. Otherwise, he has long since been deceased by this point, and only partially lives on in The Oracle's uncoincidental resemblance to him.

Trivia[]
- Though he does not have a name, all male Pythia are named Frei.
- This one is the only male Pythia ever encountered throughout Episode 1.
- This could likely be due to the Pythia race having a much higher female ratio over male.
- The Librarian Frei is unable to see colours, instead seeing the world in monochrome, which is why his channel is black and white.[1]
